Last year, we celebrated his 1st birthday with family and close friends makan-makan at my house and so this year, we want to make it more “Family Time”.
Hence, we decided to celebrate @ Grand Lexis, Port Dickson. We came here when Syafi was 2 months old and back then, it was called The Legend International Water Homes. You can read from here, here and here. Now, we are back here, when Syafi’s 2 years old. We love it here because of the swimming pool inside the room which makes it much easier on the ‘babysitting department’. Hahaha.. and also, nice environment for Mama and Babah too!! Kekekeke.. *sempat jugak :p*
Birthday boy had fun exploring the room, the hotel lobby, the hotel café, the hotel surroundings and what not, except forrrrrrrrr… the built in swimming pool in the room. Gah~ of all the things, the thing that he doesn’t like was the main reason we came all the way to Grand Lexis, Port Dickson.
On our first day in Grand Lexis, Kakak and Dedek yang excited sangat nak mandi pool. I pun teruja sama, siap bawak bikini swimming suit gitu. Hahaha… *poyos* . Alasan? Bila lagi nak menyeksi kan? Kat luar malu aiii… peha, punggung, besar belaka :p.
Anyways, I tak belikan Syafi spender mandi lagi so I pakaikan shorts jer lah. Tapi, baru celup sikit, dia dah tak tahan sejuk. Badan dok gigil-gigil jer. Syafi just duduk jer kat tepi kolam tuh dengan muka tak seronok. Sian lak aku tengok anak aku tu, so I pun sacrifice lah keinginan untuk mandi-manda. I bawak si Syafi masuk bilik balik.
So, day two bila Kakak and Dedek nak berenang-renang, I lah pulak temankan dorang since I tak puas rendam semalam kan? Syafi and hubby tidur time tuh.
Sekali, Syafi bangun and saw us playing in the pool. His face didn’t show any excitement. He just looked at me, Kakak and Dedek quietly.
Babah pun berbual lah dengan Syafi.
Babah : Syafi tak nak mandi ker?
Syafi : Tak nak.
Babah : Kenapa Syafi tak nak mandi?
Syafi dengan muka yang agak lemah pun menjawab, “Syafi sakit.” *which sebenarnya dia tak sakit pun, ok? :p*
Babah : Syafi demam?
Syafi : Ha’ah. Syafi demam.
Babah : Syafi sakit perut?
Syafi sambil pegang perut and buat muka sedih cakap, “Syafi sakit perut”.
When Babah told me this story, I was like amazed with his answers and a bit sad because I had missed his conversation. However, my hubby asked him again and this time, I was around and guess what, Syafi answered the same thing with exactly the same reaction and intonation. But, lepas jer habis cakap-cakap tu, terus jer dia ligat and memang tak Nampak sakit langsung pun. Gosh! My anak is so dramatic lah :p.
All in all, the holiday was just nice for our little havoc family. Kalau duduk lelama, mak, bapak leh pengsan sebab sorang asyik nak balik jer or asyik tanya nak makan apa everytime, which is Kakak. Dedek lak dia tak pedulik apa pun, janji dial eh tengok Upin & Ipin on the iPad. Syafi laks, memang tak leh dok diam. Kejap main bola. Kejap nak jalan lari sana-sini. Hehehe.. but that is the best thing, even though penat mulut Mak ni membebel and menjerit kan tapiiii Alhamdulillah, seronok rasa bila dapat bersama-sama suami and anak-anak. *I’ll surely miss them when I leave them again for US soon huhuhu*.
Tapi, maaflah trip kali ni tak bergambar mana. I nak pegang camera pun tak leh, apalagi nak snap pictures kan? My hubby pun sibuk gak. So, silalah tengok gambar apa yang ada jer.
