..Quick and Easy Recipe : Callums Chocolate Croissant Pudding Minus the Clotted Cream and Berries..

I put up this picture on FB and as usual, it makes few friends drool and a good person, like me *perasan* would love to share the recipe with you people ;).

Good things need to be shared, kan!!

Ok, I got to blame JUNIOR MASTERCHEF for this. Coz, this cute chefs successfully made me want to try and do this myself and gosh! I am sooo happy when I saw the recipe because it is super easyyy and of course, yummeh!!!

However, I didn’t really do the whole RECIPE I only did part of it. For full recipe you can get it from here.

For just the Chocolate Croissant Pudding, you can get it right below :

Ingredients :
20g butter
2 chocolate croissants

Custard mixture
1 egg
2 egg yolks
¼ cup caster sugar
300ml thickened cream (I use whipped cream)

Chocolate sauce
2/3 cup thickened cream
80g dark chocolate 70% cocoa

Method
  1. Melt the 20gm butter and use it to brush the ramekins. Place the baking paper on to your buttered ramekins. Make sure the baking paper is big enough so that you could just pull it out later.
  2. For the custard mixture, place egg, egg yolks and sugar in a medium bowl. Whisk by hand until thick and creamy. Pour in cream and whisk until mixed well.
  3. Cut the croissants into pieces but not too small. I cut it panjang-panjang *saje nak kasi stylo sikit my croissant pudding hehe*.
  4. Add the cut-ted *haha suka-suki buat word sendiri* croissants into the custard mixture and then, spoon it out to the ramekins.
  5. Pour the balance of the custard evenly into the moulds. Put the ramekins on a baking tray.
  6. Place baking tray of puddings into oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until custard set and pudding is firm.
  7. For the chocolate sauce, using double-boil method. In a bowl, add cream and chocolate. Gently stir until chocolate melts and mixture becomes thick and glossy. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  8. To serve, place the croissant pudding on the plate and pour the chocolate sauce on top of it, as per your liking.
  9. Now, it’s ready for you to eat!!
p/s: Payah betul kalau orang yang pantang tengok makanan sedap and terus nak buat.. hehehe.. sah-sah akan carik resipi sampai dapat.... :p. Resipi apa lah pulak lepas ni, ekk?
