..Ideas on How to Celebrate Your Spouses Special Day : Part I..

In conjunction of my dear hubby’s birthday and plus, since a dear friend of mine sms me yesterday for an idea on where to bring or what to do for her hubby for his very special day and so, I thought maybe I could share with you guys on what are the things romantic or non-romantic, expensive or even when cash is low, with kids or no kids, overnight or just a one day event of ideas on how we can celebrate our spouses birthday or special day ;).

This is normally something that a girl would do to their spouses but there’s no harm for a guy to try and surprise their spouses as well, right?

I mean, if this means that it will bring back the sweetness in the relationship, why not? And plus, it’s a win-win situation. Everyone will surely gain something out of it and that is the most important part!

It does not really matter on how much you spent or how big the gift is but it is more of the thought and the sincerity, the affection express in an unexpected way, the creativity, the gestures in which comes out of love is the most cherished and treasured especially when it is done from their loved ones.

I may not cover everything and these are just few suggestions in which some of it I have tried or done it myself and some of it, is still in my waiting list, waiting for the time to be implemented :D.

So, here goes :

When Cash Is Low

• You can do something like treasure hunt kind a thing – like put notes everywhere perhaps you can start with a “wakey, wakey + lovey dovey” notes and led him/her to a place with another note and lastly, it ends up probably with a 2 tickets to a movie in a couples seats maybe? *make sure he/she likes the movie though and don’t just choose a movie in which you alone fancy ;).*
• Or you can also give him/her coupons in which you made yourself, for him/her to redeem. The coupons would probably be like a free massage by you for 30 minutes, a romantic dinner by you for that night or just whatever. Start being creative! I mean, you can also go into details like ‘ehem,ehem’ you know.. after all, he/she is your legally partner already!!
• Or you can plan for a simple picnic somewhere @ the parks nearby, wear the nicest clothes and don’t forget your camera to capture the splendid moments together. Just in case you are not into cooking, you can always do a take-away from his/her favourite restaurants too!
• Or (this is something that I did before and plus, kids were around too!), I came back home earlier than usual, park my car far from his sight, get him to pick up the kids, start cooking the simplest dish of course with cakes and everything too! And decorate your house with balloons and what not and then, the moment he/she comes home hide yourself and then, just jump to him/her and say “SURPRISE”. It was of course nothing much, but the effort and the notion of you doing the surprise will definitely melt the other persons HEART! Seriously, do try it because the moment you see his/her expressions, it’s priceless. Totally, out of this world! And not only you get to make him/her happy but, what’s more it’s along with the kids too!
