..Fight or Not to Fight?..

What would you do or how would you react if this happens to you??

Scenario A :
You were given a task to do but before doing so, you need to rely with someone to do their part first before continuing with yours.

However, before you get to finish it, suddenly your boss or more of ‘lady boss’ came to you and said that you didn’t do your job and you were asked to just give a letter if you don’t want to work here anymore.

And to top it all, your ‘lady boss’ then again email you saying that you were incompetent and if you are not motivated to work here perhaps you should just submit your letter because you are not suitable for the company.

Note : This is not the first time that the ‘lady boss’ create such a scene because she is known as somewhat ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ ;).

And so, in regards to the story above what do you think you would do or how would you react towards that?

  1. Would you just quit and submit your letter?
  2. Would you just ignore and let her be and continue working and make it as if nothing has happened?
  3. Would you rather stay and do a bit of a revenge by being a very good worker and so, if the ‘lady boss’ really do not want you to be around then, I suppose she will just have to figure it out like how to terminate you instead? :p
  4. Would you quit but before doing so email all the nasty stuff that she had done towards you all of these years that you have worked there?

So, FIGHT or Not to FIGHT?

Scenario B :
You’ve been asked to work in overseas by your current company but the offer or money or pay was not that good and at the same time, you get an offer to work in a new place with a brighter future and of course, better pay.

So, you have decided to take the latter in which is make a move to the new company and so, you tendered and resigned.

Butttt.. somehow your current company wanted to ‘terminate’ you instead? Reason being, you have made the current company lost their business just because you are not taking the overseas opportunity. Of course, there is no such thing as terminating a person who is already resigned and so, that’s when the battle began!

The difficult part is that the current company likes to play it ‘rough’. Once, they even called the future company in which an ex-staff wanted to work with and they managed to pass some ‘message’ and that poor ex-staff was then rejected from the future company. Kejam kan?

Again, what is your pick in this?

  1. Would you just pack and leave and ignore and just react as though nothing had happened and so you could be saved from the current’s company’s threat?
  2. Would you bring this matter to court?
  3. Would you send nasty emails to the rest of the staff telling of what really happened then only you pack and leave?
  4. Would you just take the offer and work in overseas after all that is what most people would want to do even though the money is not that good?

So, FIGHT or Not to FIGHT?

Seriously, come to think of it, when we are in this kind of situation what are our rights, I mean, what does it say in the labor law? Could the top people just simply do something like that to us?

Maybe readers out there who have the knowledge in this could share their views as it is definitely not my expertise.

I guess, that’s it for tonite and I really do need to sleep already.

So, renung-renung kan!!! Hehehe…
