..At Work : AWF IDOL..

Hahahaha… tengok title jer aku dah rasa nak gelak tergolek-golek. Memang selalu gitu kan, belum start cerita dah bantai tergelak sorang-sorang. Orang lain punyalah dok tunggu-tunggu.

Ok gini ceritanya… the company I worked with memang agak aktif lah membuat competition-competition yang menarik di office and salah satunya kali ni ialah “AWF Idol’ ala-ala American Idol lah ni but this is only for WOMEN.

Aku ni kan, memanglah suka nyanyi buttttt SUKA NYANYI and TAHU NYANYI is 2 different things, ok?

Isk… tak nak ah. Malu, ok? Dah lah aku ni ‘gigil’ kalau nak kena pergi ke depan. Ni kan pulak suruh menyanyi.

Tapi tu ler, masih gak ada hati and so I told them, if tak dek sapa masuk then, aku masuklah gak. Hahaha… itupun kalau yang masuk the competition semua geng-geng aku sendiri. At least tak dek lah segan sangat and plus, boleh gelakkan antara satu sama lain. Hahaha…

So, now… dalam pada TAK NAK tapi NAKKKKK tu, I kenalah start carik lagu from now on, kan?

Yelah.. alang-alang dah masuk, mestilah nak menang kot kan??? Ke TAK NAK menang? Hahaha… sebab apa tau, sebab the TOP 3 nanti nak kena NYANYI masa we all ada Chinese New Year Celebration for our very own Women’s Club :). I AM FATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

I guess, there’s just not enough T’s to express MY CURRENT FATTTTTNESSSSS. Huhuhu.. serious nak nangis, tau!! Ok, to some or most people would probably say that I am exaggerating and they would probably also, throw the comment of, “Kurus cam ni pun kata gemuk?”

But seriously, do I have to wait until I am 10kg-20kg fatter then only I start to worry? Of course not, right???

Everyone would have their own I AM FAT SIGN or (Tanda-Tanda ‘SAYA ADALAH GEMUK’) and so, I am already at the RED ALERT STAGE whereby it is already REALLY CRITICAL for me. Reallyyyyyyy critical.

So, what is my I AM FAT SIGN?

WATCH OUT SIGNS : No longer need to wear belt when wearing my jeans.
FIRST WARNING : Jeans became tight at the waist. Very uncomfortable especially when sitting down.
RED ALERT : When the skin on one thigh is rubbing the skin on the other thigh.
EXPLOSION {Fat that soon will explode type} : After the rubbing scene of both thighs, resulting to RAW BLISTERS.

Ever since si Ain put the entry on ‘Muffin Top’, lagi ler I dok tengok myself in the mirror to see ‘how much muffin or the toppings that have spilled over my muffin’? Grrrrrr.. memang sungguh mengecewakan, ok? Nangis darah sekali pun tak dek gunanya.

Hari-hari risau tapiiiii masih gak tak berapa nak sedar diri. Masih gak makan makanan yang best-best. Exercise memang langsunggggg tak dek lah kan. Just that, dua hari ni I have started doing ‘sit-ups’. Itupun takat 20 kali jer. Hahaha… tak per, bak kata pepatah “Sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit, kan?” Alamak… jadik bukit? Bukit = Menggunung = Gemuk? Tidakkkkkkkk!! *saiko*

Arghhhh… malas lah nak cakap lebih. Mari kita tunggu dan lihat in few months, semakin gemuk kah saya, kurus ker saya or pregnant kah saya? Eh~ Apakah? Hahahaha…. *oopppsss tersasulah pulak :p.*

..Austin Edition : Sunday Walk @ San Antonio..

Memandangkan hari ni hari Ahad, maka saya pun nak bercerita tentang AHAD saya di Austin dalam beberapa minggu yang lepas ;).

Asyik-asyik shoppingggggg jer kannnnn… Apa kata kita pergi sight-seeing pulak. Kali ni we all drive about 1 hour from the hotel menuju SAN ANTONIO.

Tapi, tak sah kalau tidak bergambar sebelum memulakan perjalanan. Betul tak? Bergambar with my ‘geng’ for this trip ;).

Ni cam ala-ala SIGNATURE lah kan, bergambar depan hotel :p.

We all gerak dari hotel dalam pukul 9 pagi, singgah jap ke San Marcos sebab nak exchange beg Tommy si Amira. Nasib baik lah satu jalan jer, same direction so tu yang boleh singgah. Kalau idak, minta maaf jer lah cik Amira. Pakai jer lah beg ‘besar’ itewww… kekekeke…

Sesudah tu, kami teruskan perjalanan kami ke San Antonio. Actually, tak tahu nak expect apa pun just that from the internet, it recommends to go ‘Riverwalk’, maka itulah our first destination.

Sesampai-sampai jer ‘Riverwalk’ tu, memang dok asyik snap pictures jer. Beautiful and serene surroundings. Love it!

We all pun snap-snap all the wayyyyyy. Pictures below adalah bukti betapa poyos nya kami eh! saya… :p. Hahaha.. yang kelakarnya, memula tu aku sorang jer bergambar entah apa-apa, alih tu.. semua pun follow… hehehehe… manataknya, buhsan ah… asyik-asyik bergambar berdiri tegak cam nyanyi lagu Negaraku gitu.. hahahaha…

Sambil tu, sambil ikut jer signboard and we randomly chose ‘La Villita’ as our next stop. ‘La Villita’ ni cam ada pekan kecik gitu. Ada tempat makan-makan and small shops. Tak masuk pun. Cuma singgah toilet dia jer untuk melepaskan apa-apa yang patut sebelum sambung jalannnnn. Hehehe.

Riverwalk ni cam panjang and jauh jer lagi but since si Kelly dah mengadu lapar, so we all pun berpatah balik lah sebab dia teringin nak makan dekat one Mexican Restaurant by the river. Feeling horny romantic! Aaahhh gituuu…

Kat sini portion kan selalunya BESAR so we all pun order 2 sets jer and then, share-share. Sharing is caring, kannnnn? I and si Ain memang melantak enchiladas and nachos. Feveret, ok?

Bila perut dah kenyang, haruslah meneruskan perjalanan yang belum selesai itu. Kami pun jalan jer lah. Tadi ada nampak signboard tulis ALAMO, kat website cam ada sebut-sebut pasal ALAMO ni. So, kami ikutkan jer lah langkahan kaki ini.

Dalam pada kami berjalan tu, tetiba nampak lah polis dan kereta polis di hadapan. Si Ain tetiba nampak panic semacam jer. BIla nampak dia panic, aku dok cuak sebab passport tertinggal dalam kereta, kot ler polis nak check kan.

Alih rupanya, time we all jalan laju giler nak melepasi polis, kereta polis dan a guy yang di gari dan di tahan polis itu, si Ain cakap, dia takut kot-kot lah kan, tetiba orang tu terambik pistol and buat tembakan rambang. Ya Allah, langsung tak terlintas and tak terfikir kat fikiran aku pun. Aku yang mula-mula selamba terus panic sama, ok?

Phew~ Alhamdulillah, kami semua selamat melepasi polis, kereta polis dan tahanan polis itewww.

Belum pun kami sampai ke ALAMO tu, kami singgah sebentar ke kedai-kedai souvenirs. Beli fridge magnet dan sebagainya buat kenangan.

Jalan depan sikit lagi, wahhh… rupa-rupanya, happening jugak kawasan ni yer! Ada Ripley’s Believe it Or Not, ada ala-ala Madamme Tussaud, Louis Tussaud kot, tak ingat lah pulak namanya apa, ada 4D Maze apa ke benda entah dan macam-macam lagi lah. Tapi, we all tak gi pun. Memang straight menuju ke ALAMO.

Dah penat bergambar kat THE ALAMO, kami pun pergilah mencuci mata kat RIVERCITY CENTER, shopping mall kat area tu. Si Kelly dan si Ain, nak pekena Starbucks. Aku dah kekenyangan. Si Scott lak, dia mengantuk, boleh tertidur kat Starbucks tu. Hehehe. Sian Scottie.

So, rasanya itu jer lah kot aktiviti kitorang pada hari tu. Malam tu agak kepenatan, jadik Ain and I main masak-masak and makan jer kat bilik. Hehehe… and malam tu jugaklah, yang terjadiknya AGENDA LUAHAN PERASAAN. I have blogged about it here.

..Special Kids : Incognizant – Lacking awareness or Consciousness..

I sekarang tengah agak BENGANG, KECEWA and SEDIH with CIC Putrajaya Precinct 11, the nursery or the place that I sent my kids to, after school.

I have been sending my kids to CIC Putrajaya Precinct 11 for 4 years now and so far, I am happy.

However, just few days after New Year of 2012, the satisfaction that I used to have starts to subside. I am no longer a happy parent. The happy feeling caved in.

Why?

What makes me UNHAPPY?

What happen?

One evening after work about 5:30pm, my hubby fetched Kakak and Dedek from CIC Putrajaya Precinct 11. Both Kakak and Dedek still wear their primary school uniform which they wore from 7:00am in the morning. Hubby got mad and talked to the ‘particular teacher’. It was the first time that it happens and so, we thought that maybe it is something like ‘kes terlepas pandang’. We closed one eye and teruskan hidup cam biasa.

UNTILLLLLLLLL….

Last week, since I just got back from Austin and so, during lunch time I accompanied my hubby to pick up my kids from morning school and sent them to CIC Putrajaya Precinct 11.

Sampai jer CIC Putrajaya Precinct 11, I hantar Kakak and Dedek to the door of the school. I heard ‘the teacher’ shouted to Kakak and Dedek asking them to mandi and then, makan. *Hati kecil I berkata, how lah Kakak and Dedek nak pergi mandi sendiri and then, siap-siap pakai baju sendiri and pergi makan sendiri????? Both Kakak and Dedek needed some assistance. Period.*

• Yes, Kakak and Dedek they can take bath by themselves butttt they still need some assistance, at least someone to monitor them. They are not completely independent yet!
• If you just ask Kakak and Dedek to take bath by themselve, most likely they will just remain standing there without doing anything because they are unsure of what is needed to be done. They still need guidance.
• Whenever people ask them whether they have eaten or not OR whether they are hungry or not. They will just nod and say, YES without even understanding what it really MEANT!!!

Note : I do know and understand that most of the teachers are NEW buttttt what I don’t understand is, why nobody from the OLD BATCH let the NEW BATCHES know about my kids condition. I mean, I have sent them to CIC Putrajaya Precinct 11 for 4 years already and they have been changing teachers like many, many times and so, HOW COME NO ONE IS THERE TO TRANSFER THE KNOWLEDGE TO THE NEW BATCH OF TEACHERS?????

Anyways, I am still ok with that because I can do the talking to the new teachers but still this is what happened!

*After hearing the teacher shouting and giving instructions to Kakak Dedek and so, I quickly meet up with the ‘teacher’*

makcikAini : Kakak and Dedek ni kanak-kanak istimewa, jadik dorang tak tahu nak mandi sendiri. Nak kena ada orang yang tengok-tengok kan.
Teacher : Oh. Ok. Dorang dah makan ker?
makcikAini : Belum. Dorang lapar ni baru balik sekolah. Haaa.. ni pun satu, dorang tak reti sangat nak cakap nak makan ker tak, or dah lapar ke belum. So, memang nak kena bagitau lah, yer!
Teacher : Ok. Jom Kakak and Dedek, meh makan dulu.

*So, I pun dengan agak senang hati, terus masuk dalam kereta and pergi balik ofis.*

Little that I know, that evening when hubby and I came to pick up the girls. Golly! We were so surprised to see both Kakak and Dedek are still wearing their school uniform, again!!!

I was like, dah memang naik angin dah time tu but as usual, I try to control myself as much as possible.

makcikAini : Eh! Kakak dengan Dedek tak mandi ker? *finger pointing to Kakak’s and Dedek’s clothes and my small eyes becomes HUGEEEEE*
Teacher : Mandi. *Jawab dengan penuh confident.*
makcikAini : Kalau dah mandi, kenapa dorang masih pakai baju sekolah?
Teacher. Dah. Dah mandi. *sambil pandang Kakak and Dedek*
makcikAini : Isk…. Kalau dah mandi, takkan masih pakai baju sekolah kot?
Teacher : Kakak dah mandi kan? *asked the teacher sambil pusing pandang Kakak*

Like, seriously???

Arghhhhh!!!! Marahnya akuuuuuuu~

Ikutkan hati dan perasan, time-time tu jugak nak carik nursery baru for them tapi, memandangkan memang agak susah to find a place yang nak ambik dorang. I suppose, I just have to endure it. Hopefully, with time Kakak and Dedek should be ok in their hands. Amin~.

..Quick and Easy Recipe : Tex-Mex Quesadillas..

This entry is definitely under the influenced of Ain’s entry hehehe and so, with referenced to other recipes, I made my own version of Seafood Quesadillas. Sedap gak wooo!!! Meh try jom ;).

Ingredients:

Antara Bahan-Bahannya

Wheat Tortillas

Pasta Sauce/Tomato Puree

Crab Filamens - Boiled and Slice it *Although, Crab Meat lagi baguslah but of course you can use squids or non-seafood like chicken and beef, if you prefer those*

Baby Tomatoes

Mushrooms *Shitakes or Button or whichever is fine – Slice or dice it (According to your prereference)*

Cheddar Cheese

Mozarella Cheese

Olive Oil

Onions/Shallots *Slice or dice it (You can also blend it but for me, I like to see some textures)*

Garlics *Slice or dice it (You can also blend it but for me, I like to see some textures)*

Cara-cara :

First of, boil/rebus the crab filamens until cooked.

Seafood Mixture
On a hot pan, heat up about 2 tbsp of Olive Oil.
Saute the onions/shallots and garlics until yellowish or golden in colour.
Add in the mushrooms. Mix it well before adding in the crab filamens.

Atas pan leper, put a bit of Olive Oil and letakkan the Wheat Tortillas for few minutes, on each side.

1. Sapukan pasta sauce/tomato puree on the tortillas.
2. Susunkan the seafood mixture nicely and add baby tomatoes.
3. Finally, letak the Cheddar Cheese and Mozarella on top of it. Lagi banyak lagi sedap.
But, hati-hati coz nanti terkeluar and jadik melimpah ruah pulak :p.

Last sekali, tutup the whole thing with another tortillas and agak-agak cheese dah MELT, boleh lah angkat.
Potong seperti mana QUESADILLAS di potong yer untuk IMPAK MAKSIMA ;).

Wallah!

• Good portion of speech is understandable *I feel that macam Syafi dah jer just because I understand most of the things yang dia mintak from me. Aci kah?*

Ok.. itu sahaja buat masa sekarang... I am actually in the midst of buat kerja ni. Huhuhu.. tetiba jer ada ISSUES yang banyak lak. Haih~ *Of all the times...*
